I was in the super market today and I passed by a father digging out some crumpled dollar bills from his pocket. His daughter was holding a cup cake, a smile stretching across her face. She hugged her dad's leg and said 'I love you dady.' He bent down, picked her up and held her tight saying in her ear 'I love you too, happy birthday, sorry it's not much...' As he said this a tear rolled down his cheek. Now honestly I got a lil choked up, this made me think of everything I take for granted, made me think of how my life would be like if I didnt have the things I had now. I rushed home and found my daughter in the kitchen waiting for me. 'Dady your home!' she said as she ran up to me, jumping up and throwing her arms around me.
